Pellet Sizing (Automatic)

An Image of the pellet quality is provided to the operator each time a sample is taken with the CAS™ sampling technology. The image is used by the operator to judge whether the product quality is acceptable or not. By means of special hardware the flash-off steam from the hot product after extrusion is removed and several images of the pellets are taken. A number of pellets are automatically measured for product size in terms of e.g. length, diameter, width and area.
